| Toy trains continue to be a favorite for boys and girls. In fact, many adults share a love of model trains as well, kids of all ages love to imagine a whole new world of towns, curving track, scenery and crossings all revolving around a steaming locomotive. Teen boys are especially enamored of the electric trains, while plastic and pull toy versions were used more often for small kids, such as toddlers and elementary aged children.
