Toy Safety - Meyer's Toy World

Dear Toy Consumer:

It is discouraging and unacceptable to us and our customers when suppliers like Fisher Price, Mattel and others let us down by inadequate testing of their products.

Meyer's Toy World has been selling toys for 60 years and we want to thank your for you continued support. We have always had high standards when it comes to the selection of our products due to our understanding of the importance of our customer's health and welfare and the safety of their children. Just becasue a supplier was going to put an item on TV and we knew it would sell, did not necessarily mean that we would carry that item. We have turned down many products because they did not meet our standards.

We carry toys that are not made in China. Names like Playmobil*, Lego*, Brio* Ravensburger Games*, Bruder Trucks* and many more. We also carry quality products that are made in China, including Melissa & Doug*, RC2*, Klutz*, Breyer Horses*, Boy Scouts of America*, Lionel Trains* and others.

There have been toy recalls in the past and hopefully very few in the future. We do believe the whole industry has stepped up their effort to bring safe toys to the market.
